About Artis & Laurel
Hello, it's nice to meet you...
Artis & Laurel is a small local business run by me, Laura.
Making jewellery started out as attending a one-off workshop and ended up a bit of an obsession! I love the whole process of making, from design to finishing (with the exception of polishing to a mirror shine, although I love the look, so it's worth it). I started out using silver clay and now use a combination of silver clay and traditional silversmithing, meaning my work is a mixture of fine and sterling silver.
I get inspiration from things I love in life, but also like experimenting using different shapes and contrasts. I grew up with a love for gemstones, collecting them from an early age. Now, I collect them to use as part of my jewellery, making each piece even more unique.

Ethical Materials
All materials used are sourced ethically and responsibly, using companies that do similarly. The majority of the metals are recycled which adds further sustainability and boxes are made from recycled and/or recyclable materials.
Unique Designs
Our jewellery designs combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Every piece is unique, with subtle differences even when popular designs are recreated. There is a range of simple but elegant designs available, as well as one of a kind pieces.
